Jeanne Brovelli

President

Hi, I'm Jeanne Brovelli, co-owner (with Norm) of La Casa Bella Fine Furnishings. I've lived in beautiful Plumas County, mostly in Quincy, since 1971 and raised my family here. I've held a variety of different jobs over the years and in various parts of the county. I'm enjoying working in retail and being involved with our local Chamber of Commerce. It's great to work with such a dedicated staff and board!

My community involvement includes serving as president of Mason City Noon Rotary, and Mason City Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors where I served on the Executive Council and had responsibility for membership and events. I moved to Quincy in September with my husband Dwight who is a retired school superintendent, and was also active with the Chamber of Commerce. We have two grown children who live in Denver and San Francisco.

Jim Boland

Director

I'm originally from San Jose and have a BA from Chico State in Recreation and Park Administration. I have been a seasonal ranger, patrol ranger, lead ranger, chief ranger/operations supervisor during the 80's, in the coastal range,
I am married to Gloria (28years) and have two grown children: Maria and Bryan. I have traveled to most corners of the earth in an earlier life. I love to sail,x-country ski, bike ride and hike. I began working as the General Manager for the Central Plumas Recreation and Park District in 1991. I try to run the recreation district as a small business - ie. entrepreneurial in spirit. We have forged collaborative partnerships with numerous other local agencies and businesses and individuals to the benefit of the
community. I have experienced over the years that local businesses have been very generous and supportive of recreation programs - now I want to give back through participation on the Quincy Chamber Board.

Kent Barrett

Vice President

Hi and welcome to the Quincy Chamber's website. My name is Kent Barrett. My wife, Adrienne, and I moved to Quincy in 2008 from Redlands, CA because we wanted to live in a small community. We own and operate a mobile catering & event planning business called Southern Accent. We've traveled extensively throughout the southern states and learned to cook
foods indigenous to these areas. We joined the Quincy Chamber at the start-up of our business because we wanted to get involved and enjoy volunteering. The chamber has been a great conduit for our business to grow and prosper. I've been on the Board for 3 years and enjoy working together and making a difference in our community.
